Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the website design project I completed for my client, Karrie Stringer.
Karrie is the founder of The Simple Plan; a coaching program for overwhelmed female business owners who are fed up with chaos and confusion, all the noise and just want a simple plan to create a profitable business and get the joy back in their lives!
The Problem:
Karrie reached out to me because she needed a website that conveys simplicity with a bit of subtle joy and although she’s quite techy and has built in Squarespace in the past, but she wanted a WordPress website and realized that she needed someone to do it for her as ‘design is really not her thing’ (her words, not mine).
She simply didn’t have the time and designing something that looked professional was a bit of a struggle (she could do a basic website but struggled with design elements and how to set it all out).
The Solution:
After seeing some of my past work, she decided to book a free, no obligation discovery call with me. During the call, she mentioned that I was ‘very chilled out about the process’ which was calming. After our call, she felt confident in working with Vivid Pixel Studio and decided to book her own VIP Design Experience.

- I loved that you gave me simple step by step instructions and I got sight of the website design very quickly. And the suggestions made on copy changes, made it very easy for me.

- I love it all – everything just works and looks amazing!

- I feel more like an actual business owner and able to confidently point people to my website without shame!

- I loved working with you for my website build. The whole process was very simple and easy, with step-by-step instructions so I knew exactly what to expect. She gave me some great suggestions and advice on my copy as well and always responded very quickly to any queries.
What would you say to someone who is considering booking their own VIP Design Experience?
- It’s a brilliant experience to get something done in a day, it takes all the hassle out of it for me. Overall, very organized – you’re one of the few website/brand designers that I’ve worked with that has a clear process – and that I loved loved loved, because there’s nothing worse than wondering what the hell happens next!
